The WaveChanger Approach

WaveChanger facilitation training is a unique, non-traditional method of facilitation designed for highly effective group collaboration. WaveChanger does not rely on techniques, but rather on a proven process and principle-based methodology. 

WaveChanger is a principle-based method called Results-Based Conversations (RbC). The RbC training approach is designed around three key concepts.


First, students receive instruction on WaveChanger and RbC information including key principles and models.  This is often provided through our online Video Library.


Second, students will imitate, in the classroom, what they have learned to ensure understanding of critical information, as well as provide a safe and encouraging environment to practice their new skills.  Our focus is on helping students use the new skills they are learning.


Third, students hone their skills even further through exploration and innovating best practices and application to their unique situations and environments.  Every student is encouraged to customize the RbC skills for the greatest effectiveness in their environment.

The WaveChanger RbC process is based involves two key phases that set the facilitator and meeting up for success.

Prior to the scheduled facilitated meeting, a design team is formed consisting of key stakeholders and sponsors.

The design team is tasked with articulating clear objectives and defining the work to be done during facilitation sessions.

A Design Document is created which ensures that conversations and work done during the session will accomplish the goals set by the sponsors.

During the sessions, the facilitator utilizes the Design Document and RbC methodology to guide the entire process.

This unique two-phased approach and process are the keys to WaveChanger’s success in achieving high levels of collaborative contribution – and accelerated results for the organization.
